Eric Allely, M.D. is the President of American Medical Diagnostics, Inc. (AMEDx), a medical informatics company based in Northern Virginia. He has overseen the design, development and deployment of the company's distributed diagnostic consultation services.

Dr. Allely has over 30 years of experience in medical leadership, operational research and academic medicine including the development of education and training programs. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Colorado and completed four years of surgical residency and fellowship with the Washington Hospital Center and the Uniformed Services University. After fellowship training he worked at the Center for Medical Education Technologies at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for ten years, initially serving as Medical Director before becoming its Director.

Dr. Allely has served in the National Guard for over 33 years, including two combat tours and five years of Active Duty: three years at Joint Forces Command and two years in the Joint Surgeon's Office of the National Guard Bureau. His military experience includes strategic planning and development of medical policy, doctrine and operational plans for the Department of Defense and U.S. Government interagency.

Dr. Allely's current goals include expanding the AMEDx diagnostic consultation services to support the growing networks of Diagnostic Management Teams.
